Small Business of the Year Highly Commended

Red Shoes Media & Marketing  was delighted to be Highly Commended in the Small Business of the Year category at the 2019 South Holland Business Awards.

Red Shoes’ Tracey Sweetland was there at the black tie awards ceremony at Spalding’s Springfields Event and Conference Centre on November 14 to collect the certificate from Radio Lincolnshire presenter Melvyn Prior.

The awards are organised annually by Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce.

We lost out on the top prize in the category – sponsored by Charmed Interiors – to Be Bright Pre-School.

The Highly Commended award was the icing on the cake for a fantastic first year in business for Red Shoes, formerly Plan B Marketing and ACTS4 Marketing.

Tracey said: “I am absolutely bowled over and amazed to have been Highly Commended in the Small Business of the Year category.

“I feel so proud of what I have achieved so far with Red Shoes and look forward to many more years helping my existing clients and showing new ones how marketing can bring in more money and make their businesses more successful.

“Be Bright Pre-School was a worthy winner of the award for their commitment to early years education, but the second place spot was a huge achievement for Red Shoes, as such a small business.

“It just goes to show that you can achieve anything you put your mind to. I hope it inspires other micro businesses to have a go at entering awards like these.

“It’s a great confidence boost and a brilliant way to promote yourself and get your name and face known in wider business circles.

“It’s given me a real boost of motivation to press ahead with all the exciting plans I have buzzing around in my head to make Red Shoes even bigger and better.”

Red Shoes is now launching new Marketing Starter and Marketing Booster packages for small businesses and has several other projects in the pipeline, including the launch of new training workshops.
